The most beloved Japanese manga artist, Osamu Tezuka's immortal science fiction masterpiece "PHOENIX (Hinotori)" is visualized into a meticulous, unique, and beautifully animated film. Among the 12 volumes, "Pnoenix Nostalgia (Hinotori Bokyo-hen)" has finally been made into the animation for the first time. The seven-year-long production of this spectacular masterpiece was completed by STUDIO4℃, which continues to produce artistic visual works.

It is an epic tale of love and adventure that depicts the life of the main character Romi, who arrives on Eden, a planet far from the Earth. At the end of her journey that transcends time and space, Romi discovers "home". The profound final scene will touch the hearts of everyone living on this planet Earth.

Directed by Shojiro Nishimi, the creator who has demonstrated his unique creative style in films such as "Tekkonkinkreet" and "Mutafukaz". He has created a bold, modern take on Tezuka's original story, while at the same time creating a world overflowing with the charm that only animation can offer. In addition, a strong team of creative members who have supported STUDIO4℃ productions, including character designer and supervising animation director Tatsuzo Nishita and art director Shinji Kimura, have been assembled for the project. The music by popular composer Takatsugu Muramatsu is also noteworthy for its grand scale and poetic sentiment. The film's voice cast, including Rie Miyazawa as the main character Romi, Honoka Yoshida, Yosuke Kubozuka, and Issey Ogata, is also a must-see.

We may have forgotten how precious our irreplaceable home, the Earth, is. Tezuka Osamu's warning bells and message of overflowing love for all mankind will be brought back to life on the screen!
